The website was designed as a network of subsites. The challenge was bring news and contents from all Piemonte districts in a single web platform, but keep each region distingued both in frontend and backend. So editors and administrators have their own admin panel different in roles and site ownership.
After an accurate research of technology and site structure we end up with the best solution which is wpmu. The site is structured like a single platform with multiple reality, multiple admin area but with shared database and plugins setup.
Layout and graphics are thought and designed with the same concept, all subsites have a great family feeling even if they are differents in color palettes and content types.
